Internet/Manufacturer’s Coupons

• Coupons are accepted only if the store carries the item
• Coupons must be presented at the time of purchase
• Canadian coupons only are accepted
• The coupon must have Manufacturer’s instructions to the retailer as well as a Canadian remittance address
• The item purchased must match the item presented on the coupon, (identical in size, quantity, brand, style etc)
• The expiration date must be listed and coupons must be redeemed prior to that date.
• Coupons must have a scanable barcode

Number of coupons that can be used for each item

• Only one acceptable coupon may be presented for each item purchased within a transaction
• The store reserves the right to limit quantities where multiple coupons are used for multiple purchases of the same item

Free merchandise with a coupon (i.e. BOGO)

• No Sales tax is applied on free merchandise

When coupon value exceeds the price of the Item

• If the value of the coupon exceeds the price of the item (including taxes), the excess value of the coupon is applied against the transaction total for all other items purchased (after taxes). Any remaining coupon value after the excess value has been applied against the transaction total for all other items purchases (after taxes), is not paid out as cash.

Coupon zone coupons, LCL flyer coupons, LCL website coupons and President’s Choice Financial® coupons are all gladly accepted according the terms and conditions printed on the coupon. Manufacture coupons are accepted for in store purchased items according to the guidelines listed in section 2.0.

2.0 Guidelines 

2.1 The item being purchased must conform to the product details on the coupon including size, brand, quantity, co-purchased item etc.

2.2 Only Canadian coupons are accepted.

2.3 The expiry date must be valid.

2.4 The coupon must be presented at time of purchase.

2.5 A coupon cannot be redeemed against the “free” item in any offer where the customer buys more than one item to get one or more item for free (BOGO deals). Eg. Buy one bag of chips, get a second bag of chips free – a single coupon can be applied to the purchase of the two bags.

2.6 Coupons have no cash value.

2.7 If the coupon value exceeds the retail value of an item, the coupon value will be reduced to reflect the retail of the item.

2.8 All sales taxes are paid by the customer at the retail value of the product. Refer to 2.9 to see Free Item guideline.

2.9 The value of a coupon that offers a product for free will include the amount of any applicable taxes.

2.10 Home printed coupons from emails or websites are accepted in black/white or colour. Manufacture coupons must have a valid manufacture address on the printed coupon, expiration date and be completely legible.

2.11Photocopies are not accepted.

2.12 Coupons are void if they appear distorted or blurry.

2.13 One coupon only per item purchased may be redeemed during each store visit, even if a limit statement is not included on the coupon. Coupon stacking is not allowed.

2.14 The Store Management reserves the right to restrict individual item purchase quantities to reasonable family limits.

3.0 General Information

3.1 Each coupon will be reviewed to ensure it complies with the details of the section 2.0 Guidelines. We appreciate your patience during this validation process.

3.2 Customers with excessive amounts of coupons in a single order may be asked to relocate to complete their order as a courtesy to our other Customers.

3.3 We may change this policy without notice at any time.

3.4 All coupon redemptions are subject to the policy in effect at time of redemption.

3.5 Competitor’s coupons are not accepted.

Co-Op Canada Coupon Policy

Received: May 19, 2011

1.  We accept Canadian coupons that are within the stated expiry date and include the 

dealer information.  Coupons will only be accepted for the item specified.

2.  There is a limit of one coupon per item.

3.  We do accept internet printable coupons as long as they fall within the expiry date, 

contain a Canadian clearing house address and are for a product that Co-op sells.  

4.  We accept competitor's coupons as long as they fall within the expiry date, are an 

actual coupon that can be brought to our location and are for a product that Co-op 

currently carries.  

Zellers Canada Coupon Policy

Stores will accept manufacturer's coupons provided that they contain a bar code and the terms and  

conditions which are fully legible.
on-line manufacturer's coupons only from the vendor's website.  

You can print the email itself and show this when you are ready to purchase. 

The value of the coupon must not exceed the current retail price of the  

item being purchased.
If the coupon states that it is only one per purchase, then you may only use one coupon per purchase.
If the coupon indicates, one per item, then you may use more than one coupon per  

purchase but only one per item. 
If a coupon value is higher than the cost of an item, then you may not be able to use that coupon to purchase 

that particular item. 

Walmart Coupon Policy

We gladly accept the following types of coupons*

• Print-at-home internet coupons
  • Must be legible
  • Must have "Manufacturer Coupon" printed on them
  • Must have a valid remit address for the manufacturer
  • Must have a valid expiration date
  • Must have a scannable bar code
  • Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons with a specified price
  • Are acceptable in black and white or color
  • May not be duplicated
• Manufacturers' coupons
  • For dollar/cents off
  • For free items (except those printed off the Internet)
  • Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons
  • Must have "Manufacturer Coupon" printed on them
  • Must have a valid remit address for the manufacturer
  • Must have a valid expiration date
  • Must have a scannable bar code
  • May not be duplicated
• Competitors' coupons
  • A specific item for a specified price, for example, $2.99
  • Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons for items with a specified price
  • Have a valid expiration date
  • Are acceptable in black and white
• Soft drink container caps
• Checkout coupons ("Catalinas")
  • Printed at our competitors' registers for dollar/cents off on a specific item
  • Must have "Manufacturer Coupon" with specific item requirements printed on them
  • Must have a valid remit address for the manufacturer
  • Must have a valid expiration date
  • Must have a scannable bar code
  • Are acceptable in black and white
  • May not be duplicated

We DO NOT accept the following coupons:

• Checkout coupons
  • Dollars/cents off the entire basket purchase
  • Percentage off the entire basket purchase
• Print-at-home Internet coupons that require no purchase
• Competitors' coupons
  • Dollars/cents off at a specific retailer
  • Percentage off
  • Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons without a specified price
  • Double- or triple-value coupons

*The following are guidelines and limitations:

• We only accepts coupons for merchandise that we sell.
• Coupons must be presented at the time of purchase.
• Only one coupon per item.
• Item purchased must be identical to the coupon (size, quantity, brand, flavor, color, etc).
• There is no limit on the number of coupons per transaction.
• Coupons must have an expiration date and be redeemed prior to expiration.
• If coupon value exceeds the price of the item, the excess may be given to the customer as cash or applied toward the basket purchase.
• SNAP items purchased in a SNAP transaction are ineligible for cash back.
• WIC items purchased in a WIC transaction are applied to the basket purchase and may not be eligible for cash back. Refer to state-specific WIC guidelines.
• Great Value, Marketside, Equate, Parents Choice, and World Table coupons have no cash value and are ineligible for cash back or application to the basket purchase.
• The system will prompt for supervisor verification for:
  • 40 coupons per transaction.
  • A coupon of $20 or greater on one item.
  • $50 or more in coupons in one transaction.

The store policy's noted below and through out this website are from my understanding and past experience and may or may not be inaccurate or subject to change. 

Real Canadian Wholesale/ Super Stores

Accepts tear pad coupons, mail-out coupons and also has a large selection of instore coupons posted throughout the store and in the weekly flyer. They will price match if you have an up to date flyer with a better price in it. With a little research I have discovered they will "Stack" coupons. However, they have to have a different bar code, and if the coupon says limit per purchase, they enforce that limit. Some of the cashiers are not aware of the policy. Ask them to look into it.   

Safeway

Accepts mail-out coupons and manufacturer's coupons. A good place to look for tear pad coupons.  

Wall-Mart

Accepts printable coupons, mail-out coupons, and most other coupons. Also offers price matching for your shopping convenience.  You can check out their store policy by clicking on this link:

Zellers

Accepts printable coupons, mail-out coupons, and has an instore points card system that you can redeem for gift cards, which can act as cash. 

London Drugs

Accepts printable coupons with a value of $3.00 and under. Accepts most coupons and most importantly "Stacks" coupons. They also price match and have  30 day price protection.  Often you will find instore coupons posted as well. 

Safeway

Accepts mail-out coupons and manufacturer's coupons. A good place to look for tear pad coupons.  

Shopper's Drug Mart

Accepts most coupons, and has an in-store points card system that you can redeem for money off your purchases. They also reimburse you the overage of a coupon if it is greater than the item you are using it on.
