Hints and Tips to:
Becoming an Expert Couponer

Five Tips to become a Master of Coupons
1. Plan and organize
Use the list of sales from your grocery or drugstore chain (often posted online) to plan your week's menu and staples shopping. You'll need an accordion-style checkbook-size organizer or a binder for individual coupons and a shoebox to store Sunday circulars. Bring your Flyer, to Price Match and don't forget to take copies of their store policy's.  You never know when you will need to show this to a cashier or manager.  Call the store in advance and ask them what there policy is or ask when u arrive before you shop with your coupons.  Bring your own Bags too, places like Giant Tigers will take .03$ off your bill for each Bag you use and fill.  Others stores will charge you $.03 - $.05 per Bag they give you.  And you will be helping the environment.  Do your part, save money, and help Mother Earth. Every Penny Counts!  Tiger Cubs Every Penny!
2. How to Find coupons
Buy the weekend papers. Usually in the first and second weekends of the Month  you will find P&G , Redplum inserts (Coupons)  these are your largest provider in coupons. Look online, including the stores were you usually purchase your products. You may find Printable coupons,   or discounts and points you can add to those loyalty cards. Register with them some places give you weekly coupons and being on the mailing list for nearby stores and wholesale clubs like Costco some places offer,  Birthday Loyalty Clubs. for a list of a few check the tab in home page under Loyalty Clubs.
3. Match up your Sales & Coupons
Get the coupons that go with the weekly sales. Take the coupons with you and keep the remainder of the circulars. (Many sites will do this matching work for you). u may also do this with the flyer s online ( grocery list)  I recommend you take a flyer from inside the stores. As you may shop another store that price matches.  Try not to use your coupons unless they have a sale to match them up too.  Being patient is the Key!
4. Use the deals
Favor stores that double or even triple coupons, (eg.. Londen Drugs if you have one in your area ) which can generate a store credit Loyalty Points.   At first you may have to buy stuff you need without a coupon that's where credits come in handy -- but as you learn the ropes, this will happen less often. Save coupons.
5.  Adapt Yourself:

Look for savings. Buy your food in places like Wal-Mart and Giant Tigers.. Sign up for loyalty programs, especially at drugstore chains such as Shoppers Optimum Point,  Metro Point, HBC Rewards, Air Miles,  you will be able to redeemed this next time you shop there.
